Phil Dandridge
Chief Instructor

Sifu, and Unang Guro, Phil Dandridge began his Martial Arts Training at the age of 16 under Master Rex Jones of the Fei Lung Kwan and first formed an association to enable him to teach martial arts in 1995. This association was originally called the NKAGB (Northern Kung Fu Association of Great Britain) and taught the Elephant Form Fist system, or Chiong Hsing Chuan Fa, and Five Animals kung fu.
After some time, he started to teach other systems that he had studied. These systems include Wing Chun kung fu and Filipino martial arts.
After a number of years training in Warrior system Filipino Martial Arts, Phil started to learn Kali Ilustrisimo in a direct lineage from two of the 'Five Pillars of Ilustrisimo', Grand Master Yuli Romo and Master Rey Galang, from his friend and teacher, Punong Guro Peter Lewis who is a full member of Bakabakan International and runs the world HQ of Zu'bu Kali for GM Yuli Romo. At the end of 2007 Phil started to teach his own syllabus of Flipino martial arts.

Sean Lewis

Sean has practised martial arts since 1999 and started his journey training in the Cheng Man Ching version of the Yang Taiji Quan system. This aroused Sean's appetite for the Internal arts and he followed this up by learning both the long and short Yang family forms.
At the same time Sean was gaining a solid karate base training in Bath and, with weapons, in Birmingham three nights a week for four years. Following this he studied Southern White Crane kung fu for two years before the teacher left.
Still doing Taiji but wanting a harder style Sean started looking for a new Sifu in 2005 and so found D.M.A.S. and with it Hung Gar, Ch'oing Hsin Chuan Fa, and a host of other styles. After three years training in Hung Gar he graded to red sash (Junior Instructor level) and holds a black sash in Ch'oing Hsin Chuan Fa.
